He feels nice and limber when Chris calls a stop to his calisthenics, though he'd not finished the entire rundown, or even broken much more than a light sweat. He watches Chris with an interested gaze as he opens his jeans, smiling a little as he lays out what if the process he cares to reveal and detects none of the previous distraction that had given him cause to pause. It makes him want to dart in and steal a kiss, encouragement and gratitude both tied up in it, but he refrains this time. He'll be a model submissive, he decides. Less effort for Chris if he's not earning reprimands.
He does help to divest himself of his remaining clothes though, already stiffening again as Chris expresses his intent to keep Hawke in the dark over some of it. He leans in and Hawke nearly fails his own resolution to not steal that kiss, but he manages to hold himself back. Barely.

He positions himself at the bedpost as instructed, not sure if Chris meant both hands at the one or if he's to be spread between both. He might have been anxious about his uncertainty before but there's something in having used his safe word and having it not completely ruin everything they're trying to do that gives him more confidence to be wrong, to make mistakes. Chris will tell him what he needs him to do and it's likely sinful how much comfort he takes in that.
