I think that is what we have both come to believe. Pietro has already died in his world. And even if we happened to be from the same place, I am 200 years before his time, so it is not like we ever have a chance. Perhaps if this place exists though, there may be some other place. And he has said he would never stop looking for me should he ever get there without me.

So it gives me some sort of hope even if this place still takes from us what we are trying to build.
