I don't expect anything for that, for the record. I just thought you'd like to go see a fight since you mentioned it before. I made sure it was just one of the regular ones too, though I could change it if you prefer.

[ He's not terribly keen on it but it's a gift for Chris so he'll acquiesce to whatever. ]

[Chris groans at the joke and he glared at the device, even though he knew it would go unseen.]

Look at you, you're so clever. It's fine, full of music and blankets that he builds into nests sometimes.

[Something he liked, but still wasn't entirely sure what to do with now that he had it. He'd been so hesitant to contract, now he was enjoying it.]

But, for the fight, no don't change it. Prefer it this way, honestly.

[He's not going to address the gift giving thing, he didn't need Hawke's approval for it. Besides, he didn't know the 'meaning' behind Hawke's holiday, but his own was something he was going to see through for those that mattered to him. The message itself mattered.]

Good! If you're going to be forced into a contract anyway, there's no reason not to make it something comfortable. Blanket nests sound fun.

[ It's something Hawke had comes to terms with more swiftly than most, he imagines, since his Dominant is his boyfriend of near a decade anyway. ]

[Certainly, talking about the blanket nests and the fight was easier than the contract part. It wasn't like there was anything either of them could do about it and it helped Festival hadn't been keen on it either.]

Is that a thing that you do? I've only ever seen rotten fruit.

Popcorn doesn't interrupt the fight, and it's more challenging to bounce off heads. Plus have you ever been hit with rotten fruit? It's disgusting.
