[His chiding is gentle and his arm places itself along Hawke's back as his friend pulls him close, the cleric's fingers threading through the white strands at the base of Hawke's neck as they walk.]
No, no waterbed planned, might make you seasick even with regular sex. We'll be having a normal bed with nice surroundings and low lighting for the mood. The real sell of this place is the larger bathtubs. Figure we might make use later.
[Which is about all he can get in before needing to stop to check them in, his usual line and forged note signing off on two submissives meeting up with dominant approval to 'try each other out' getting them through with no problem. The room itself is only an elevator up to the third floor, though once the doors are closed, Chris turns to step into Hawke's space and press him up against the wall with a kiss to his jaw and a leg pressing in between Hawke's.]
I know you're not much one for public displays...but I'm trying to behave.
no subject
And then he's suddenly pressed into the wall of the elevator, enveloped by Chris' presence and shuddering at the unexpected pressure between his legs. His thoughts scatter, still present but now a jumbled mess he has little hope of gathering up with the blond in his space and his mouth against Hawke's skin. He breathes in sharply, arms snaking around Chris' sides in a loose embrace as he tilts his head back more to offer easier access, skin warm and heart beating faster. ]
No one said you had to behave.
[ There's a heady excitement in Chris pushing his boundaries, he finds. He's not always in the mood for it, but in this headspace, when he's already resolved to surrender so many others, what's one more? The idea of being discovered becomes more of an enticement than a fear and he doesn't have to wonder at why, not really. Despite his mind being a tangled mess, he can see that plain as day; nothing its going to happen that he doesn't want happening. He's safe with Chris. ]
no subject
Just in time, as it happens, for him to step back completely as the elevator comes to a stop and the door dings. There's a couple on the other side and Chris takes Hawke's hand as he gives a brief nod of deference to the dominant of the pair and leads them on. Whether Hawke's legs are fully back under him or not.]
Come along, handsome...
[He does keep Hawke's hand even after the doors close behind them and Chris is quick to move in behind the other man, his free arm wrapping around Wolfe's middle as lips take up against the back of his neck. He grinds his crotch lightly against Hawke's ass as he mutters to him.]
Careful...I'd fuck you here in the hall, hand over your mouth to keep you quiet, if I didn't have better plan for you. Watch what you're willing to tell me.
no subject
The licentious grin of the dominant as he disappeared into the elevator flashes before his mind's eye and he thinks the better of it. Not because he's concerned of said dominant getting his hands on himself, but on Chris, and then causing them a great deal of legal trouble thereafter when they're forced to take the transgression out on his hide. It's a symptom of a bigger problem, and to cools Hawke's temperature for a moment.
"Another time for that. I'd rather succumb to your plans tonight than your whims." He twists in Chris' grip, grasping the cleric's hand in a tight grip and turning to kiss him appreciatively. Maybe a bit protectively.
no subject
The fingers of his other hand rise to brush along Hawke's cheek as he tries to search his friend's expression. "My efforts for you..." Something defensive with how there's a bit of tension in Hawke's neck.
Well...whatever the cause, Chris had a cure.
"Come on, let's get you out of your head a while, darling."
He leads them on to the room without further incident and what awaits them is something something just this side of decadent. A four poster bed with canopy, rich satin white bed dressings and a sitting area of a couple plush lounge chairs. The ensuite is a dark slate with a double-headed shower arrangement. Chris inspects the room as he sets his bag aside and gives a thoughtful hum. "Ah...so this is what they meant by 'Luxury.' Good to know."
no subject
He drops his hand back to his side and turns around, a gentle smile on his face. "It's much nicer than I expected, actually. Not that I expected anything poor quality but they theme these things sometimes and I don't think I'm in the mood for waves projected on the ceiling and an enormous aquarium flanking the bed."
Walking over to Chris, Hawke leans in for a kiss. He probably shouldn't, not with starting a scene and all. Boundaries, something like that, but... he simply wants the kiss. From this man, right in this moment. So he silently asks with his body instead of his words and hopes Chris won't make him say it. Or maybe he hopes that he will.
no subject
He pulls back slowly, his fingers coming up to brush the backs against Wolfe's jaw in a mirror of how he sometimes did to himself in thought.
"Tell me what we're meant to be doing here so I know you understand, and then tell me your safeword for if it becomes too much and I'm to cut you free."
He knows it, but hearing it again is part of this ritual they're...establishing. They should have talked about this a long time ago, shouldn't they? Making it up as they go wasn't safe...
He presses the thought down for later and gestures to his bag. "When you've done that, go retrieve the collar I've brought for you and hand it to me so I might put it on you."
no subject
Chris pulls back and softly touches his face with his knuckles. It's grounding and Hawke's eyes focus their stormy blue on green and finds some semblance of peace there already.
"We're meant to get me from my head." He rumbles, taking a shallow breath and exhaling slowly. "Bind me so I have no choice but to be still and know that's all I'm meant to be for awhile."
He fixes his gaze on a point past Chris' head for a moment, unfocused again as he thinks over his safe word. Sloth seems too much right now, with the weight of his inaction baring down. The word has more meaning than he wants, but that's the point isn't it? It would certainly bring him out of anything else. "My safeword is sloth."
He swallows, looking down and trying not to lean into that hand on his jaw. He's not sure he's relieved or bereft for Chris moving it to gesture to the bag, but if he hadn't Hawke may have said something he'd regret. He takes another breath, flashing a smile and trying instead to focus on what they're doing, the point of it, and not how it may make him ache. What he has no thought for is feeling safe because it's not a feeling here. It's knowledge, an immutable fact in this moment that Chris knows what he's doing and the only wrong Hawke can commit is not to follow directions. Simple. Easy. Chris, at least, will not hurt him. Hawke does enough of that all on his own.
Retrieving the collar is its own sort of satisfaction. A small task to perform, and so he goes to rummage in the bag, head already feeling a bit clearer for his fingers wrapping around the leather band. He returns to give it to Chris, holding the strip with two hands almost as a knight presenting a prize to his lord, though he doesn't kneel just yet.
no subject
He takes the strip of leather and brushes his fingers back through the right side of Hawke's hair. "Very good, thank you. Now, get on your knees for me so I can affix this around your neck. You won't be having my cock just yet, I'm afraid you'll have to earn it...but I'm sure you'll make me proud and do just that. Won't you?"
It's not a rhetorical question, but the firmness of his tone is matched with the softness of his touch when he moves to affix the collar around Hawke's neck, leaving the simple metal ring facing him. Chris loops a finger through it without pulling too much just yet.
no subject
But Hawke still notices.
"Chris?" He says his friend's name softly, still kneeling with the blond's finger crooked through the ring at his throat, but the tone is less one of submission than of concern. Something is off.
"Are you alright?"
no subject
He needed to pull himself together. Hawke needed him, he couldn't afford to not be at his best or distracted. Get with it. He takes a deep breath and smiles.
"Yes, darling. My apologies, you've my attention. You're safe." He gives a slight tug at the collar. "Are we good to continue?"
no subject
That deep breath to center himself cinches it.
Hawke kisses Chris' fingers and moves to stand. "You're safe too, Chris. You don't have to force anything for me, I'm not going to fall apart and I don't want to continue if there's something wrong, whatever it is. What's troubling you?"
no subject
"That you're apparently not ready to continue or you'd be mind me and keeping your focus on the scene. You didn't answer my question and I didn't invite yours. Back on your knees Adalwolfe Hawke and you tell me when you're ready to continue or I will take matters into my own hands."
That was the solution: keep the scene, maintain his control, show Hawke that even if he noticed something was wrong, Chris was not incapable of locking it away.
no subject
"Sloth."
He says it simply, looking up at Chris from his now half-crouch and waiting to see what he'll do. The concern he feels shows, but the part that worries Chris will be angry that he's used his safe word this way is tamped down behind the more immediate worry that Chris was trying to push through as he was.
The collar feels a bit too tight all of a sudden, but he leaves it on for now, waiting and watching, worried for his friend but not for himself save in that one regard.
no subject
"Hawke...If you're calling your word in the interest of your own protection, because you don't feel safe with me right now, then I apologize for that and would make it right. If you're calling it while chasing a perceived inability in me, then it is not appreciated."
no subject
It's at least half an honest question and he doesn't mean anything sharp with it. Instead of standing back up, he rolls back into sitting, knowing it's probably going to be a trial getting up again later and not worrying about that just now.
"You're not unable, I don't doubt you and never have. It's me; once I've seen that there's something bothering you its all I'm going to be able to think about, especially if it's bothering you enough that I even notice. I'm not unobservant but you've always been good at masking things so if I have noticed something then to my mind it must weigh heavily."
He reaches back to try and remove the collar, having difficulty with the buckle trying to do that backwards and without looking. He gives up after a moment, deciding to just deal with it for now. He shifts, distinctly uncomfortable in a way that doesn't just belong to the collar. "Tell me I've done something wrong if I have, but I didn't use my word lightly."
no subject
“No…you’ve done nothing wrong.” He just hadn’t trusted that Hawke had called the word for himself. But if he had, then nothing needed addressing.
“I’m sorry. I should have better left my outside concerns just there. Give me a moment to pull myself together and you a moment to relax and we can start again.”
no subject
Hawke reaches up to hook his fingers around one of Chris' as he moves back away with it, a small but genuine smile mingling with the worry that's yet to be dispelled. He's heartened that Chris isn't calling it off completely or angry with him for using his safe word, but whatever this is he feels Chris should get off his chest if they're to continue. Even if they weren't, he'd still want to know and try to help. "Talk to me. I'm a friend first and anything else second, remember."
no subject
He doesn't pull from Hawke's touch, but he pauses a moment to process that feeling, switch gears, and find an answer that wasn't a lie but also maybe wasn't the whole truth. He's not sure he's ready to go into some of it.
"It's just...lingering. From the pit. I..." Context. He sighs and sets the collar aside before settling down on his knees in front of his friend. "I think you were taken away afore it happened, but Jon and I got into a bit of a...tiff. I acted 'aggressive' towards him and our punishment was for him to tie me. It's been....lingering."
no subject
Hawke remembers to breathe before his lungs start burning, taking a slow and deep breath, casting his gaze down and placing one hand very lightly over Chris' on his knee. It's barely touching, more of a hover in how he knows Chris sometimes doesn't want to be touched, but he has to give something. "I'm sorry that happened. I know you hate being bound. That must have been dreadful."
He looks up again to meet Chris' gaze. "We don't have to do this if it's too much. I can find relief in other ways if I need to, don't push yourself if you're not ready."
It would be disappointing, but that's hardly of consequence if the alternative is Chris' discomfort or worse. "If you want to try and work through it, though, I'm here for you as well. We can do that in whatever way you think would help, all on your comfort, but I do want you to know that I would rather we never do this again than you putting yourself at all in distress on my account."
no subject
"I appreciate that well, I do. I'm sorry I brought distress to the table at all, it wasn't my intention. I've tied Martin since, but we were under the effects of Tumenalia, my mind was not wholly my own then, but I can assure you with full conviction I want to do this. Binding others is something I'm good at, something I enjoy doing and providing. I won't let them take it from me simply because there are ghosts lingering with it."
He offers a small but genuine smile. "If you still feel safe with me for this, I would like to try again and push through it. If you don't because I'm not wholly at my best, then we'll raincheck and I'll find another way to take you from your head that doesn't include ropes. What's your thought?"
no subject
"I think you would have to try much harder for me not to feel safe with you, Chris. That's not shaken at all, only my ability to focus, but if you sincerely want to push through that, and you feel safe with me in return to do it, I'd like to try on both our accounts." He runs a hand through his beard, letting out a soft exhale. "Knowing this is part of what we're intending helps my worry for you, and I don't know if this is alright to think or not, but knowing I'm helping you by giving you this is a comfort of its own."
Maybe that's strange, but it's true and he hopes Chris doesn't balk at him for saying so. He ducks his head, rubbing the back of his neck, then looks up at him again with a twinkling eye. "I'm game to continue if you are, messere."
no subject
"When you're ready, take my hand so I might help you stand, Wolfe. Then you'll stretch out your knees and legs; you've been holding that position a longer moment than I intended and I don't want you cramping later."
Even starting out more gentle, like a kindly lead instead of commanding one, it feels...easier to slip back into. Less like something doesn't fit right.
no subject
Trust. Care. An acknowledgement that they both have things to work through but they can do it safely with each other.
He takes the time he needs to sort his thoughts and set them aside, then reaches for Chris' hand to stand up. His knees creak as he does, one popping so loudly in the quiet room that he can't help but laugh at it. "Ooh, I think it actually feels better after that." He jokes lightly, squeezing Chris' fingers just a little.
no subject
"Good, then extra stretching will really do you wonders." He reaches up for Hawke's collar and tugs on the ring to bring him in close, though the kiss he gives his friend is light and on his cheek. "Stretches, Adalwolfe. Two minutes, I'm going to set something up with the bed while you do. Your focus is to release tension and soreness in your legs and knees and then work on your hips...I'll have need of them. If you've still time, your shoulders should be next."
Directive given, Chris releases the mage and turns from him with the full confidence of someone who expects a confirmation, not question. For his part, he needs his ropes and a couple clasps to tie to the bed-posts at the head of the bed. He sets the restraints and tests the ties of the ropes lying empty and waiting on the bed. The other coil, longer, finds a careful place at one side of the bed along with a broad belt-like strip of leather with two-d-rings set off from center. The last few tools to be set are toys, lubrication and a simple vibrator, and a thinner dildo.
All throughout, he keeps his awareness open to what Hawke's doing and any hesitation or pausing is met with a stern, imperious, look until the two minutes are up.
