[He watches her through the suggestions and her responses, gauging and reading as he would anyone else. The note about the dress and the little smile she gives, however, pulls a warmth back into his smile.]

Is it now? Don't tell me it's got an overabundance of buckles and black too. [His smile jolts wider playfully, but he shakes his head.] I'm sure you'll look lovely. You got someone to do your hair? Cause you know you happen to be looking at someone who fussed with ladies' hair for over a decade, I'd love to do something for you.

[He takes a sip from his mug.]

Have you considered using the garden out back here? Not overly fancy, but Jamie and MArtin keep it nice and healthy enough.

It is, but no buckles or black, I'm afraid.

[And then a question that she hadn't honestly thought much about. Sasha's idea of hairstyling usually involved winding her thick locks into a bun and pinning it, or the occasional ponytail or braid. She sorely dislikes the fuss her hair gives her, and woe to the person who plans on having at her.

Sasha smirks and shakes her head.]

I honestly haven't put much thought into my hair. I'm so utterly useless at this wedding planning, Chris. I'd be honored if you would tame this beast into something lovely. [She lifts a bit that's resting over her shoulder as though to prove a point.

She brushes the pad of her thumb along his cheek, offering an apologetic smile.]

I absolutely did not mean for you to essentially plan the details of this. I'm so glad you're here.

[He catches her hand even as part of his mind is already going through some of the options he's learned through the years. It would taker time, but he'd make sure it was worth it in the end. Sasha deserved to feel as beautiful as she is.

He brings her hand up to his lips.]

So long as you're not feeling pushed or bullied into more than you want. If you want a few simple flowers, some nice music, and nothing too fancy, we can do that. If you want all that but then one or two huge indulgences, then that's fine too. I'd rather help you find what you want the day to look like than make it based on the notion of what I think you deserve. [His smile ticks up higher at one corner as his brows raise and he shrugs.]

Because, then, it's my day I've made for you instead of your day you wanted for yourself...and I'd rather not let that happen. So...don't be afraid to say no to something, promise?

[Sasha thinks she'd like to have a cry at some of this business, but it's amazing how Chris seems to be the one carrying some of this strange burden of wedding planning she hadn't expected to take on in her life ever. She smiles and squeezes his hand.]

Promise. I honestly would be okay with like... some twinkle lights and candles. Some music. It's just the few of us, and I'd honestly like it to be the least amount of stress possible.

[She huffs a laugh.]

Working on that.

[He nods, an image coming together in his mind of something....simple. Elegant but not over the top. With some of her flowers, some purple to match her dress...]

I can make that happen for you. Simple, not too much, but still lovely enough to make a nice backdrop for what's meant for a memorable day.

[He shoots her a smirk and raises a brow.]

Oh are you? Good girl.

Doing my best.

[It's all she can do. Right? She sighs quietly and smiles.]

At least I have a dress, a groom, an officiant and a friends. That's all that really matters in the long run.

[Chris sweeps a bit of hair from the side of her face lightly.]

That's all you truly need, you're right. So long as you're married and happy by day's end, it's a success.

[He's good to her. She needs a hug more than she thought with this conversation, and puts her cup aside to do just that.]
