A small package is delivered to Chris wrapped in shimmering silver paper. Within is an obsidian and tiger's eye bracelet with a singular glowing bead within it.

There's a note attached written in dark ink with a careful, neat penmanship.

Chris,

From almost the moment I came to this place, you have looked out for me, been my friend, and shown me just how resilient a person can be. You're one of the best people I've ever known, and while we're stuck here, I'm thankful every day that I know you because of this place.

If you ever need it, the magic in the bead can grant a burst of energy, speed or strength. It can also send out a call to whoever you're thinking of when you hold it and think of the person.

It's one of my first magical workings, and inspired by you being there for me that day we met.

You're one of the best people I've ever known.
