[ A carefully-wrapped package makes its way to Chris's residence. Inside are a collection of sugared fruits, nuts, chocolates, and toffee. There's also a selection of various teas, some to promote energy and focus, and some to assist in sleep

There's also a small set of bath oils in colored vials, and a woven sachet of lavender to help induce sleep.

A note accompanies the gifts, written in a familiar, elegant cursive. ]

Such is the way of healers that often the last person we tend to is ourselves. Fortunate that we have a way of befriending one another, so that we may have someone looking after our well-being.

Use these in good health, my friend. Light go with you.

[The care package is met with a touched fondness and chris is quick to pen a letter in response. He could just talk to Anduin, could just text him, but this was more fun. More like home.]

Your gifts are much appreciated and will happily find use. I am glad we’ve found each other to watch our backs, it makes the task lighter and worthwhile to carry.

My custom for gift giving comes at the turn of the year along with a candle lighting ceremony meant to represent a light of hope lit at the eve of the future. You and yours are more than welcome to join me at the tide pools on the beach when the last day of the year turns and light your candles alongside mine, but know you’ll be in my thoughts for it all the same.
