[He's just going to assume it's Jon, one of the few people who are not near immediately annoyed with him.]
I expect you to have, yes. For my part, I've not many, only to enquire as to what a job might entail. I'll state plainly, if it be cleaning the confessionals after certain people have... prayed, I retract my tentative offer.

But no, I have magic for cleaning where others haven’t and if you get rid of the evidence, I’d have less ease tracking them down regardless.
There might be some dusting, certainly some guarding should any of the gangs or even just dumbasses come around, otherwise you’re welcome to fill your time how you will. I’ll pay you fairly, but it’s a negotiable amount, depending on your need.
My question is this:
How long do you intend to stay?
I saw your bid for a job and it felt of someone trying to keep busy and learn new things lest his head run off his shoulders at the first chance for excitement.
So how long should I expect your distraction to last? I’d be willing to make the sanctum quite the asset to someone looking to put an ear to the ground or get their hands dirty in certain things, but not for antsy passersby.

I'm afraid Hawke's suggestion was made in error. I've no wish to deal with the gangs again, nor keep an ear to the ground. I do seek simply something new and distracting, which I believe best sought elsewhere if you're looking for such a commitment. Sorry to have bothered you, Monsieur Sonom.

perhaps I have misjudged you and what I’d been told. My apologies.
If you wish a quiet job, then I can show you the runes to lock the place down in the event the hangs come smashing windows. I would expect someone working there to help those who come to the church in need, though. Injuries or supplies. If that is too much intervention for you, then yes, I’m afraid the Interfaith Center isn’t the place for you. I appreciate the message regardless.
