Nothing bad, necessarily. I just met a guy who I'm not sure how to feel about. Which is a problem for legal reasons. But also, he's got the entirely wrong designation, you know how it goes.

Did you know the city views me as a well-enough behaved Dom that they assign me to mentor folks after they've fucked up? Which is awkward. Truly awkward. But like, no one knows I ever behave outside the lines, and keeping it that way is...well, some kind of a balancing act. Especially when the guy's kinda 'my type', because apparently I have one of those, here. Down to swearing up and down that he's not gonna get in trouble for failing quota and not getting a contract. There are people who manage not to get caught, but also know they somehow keep track of that in the background, so even if you hide, it could come out at some point.
Then again, if it's worth it to you it's worth it to you.

Have you considered inviting him to be part of a scene with one of your subs? Maybe guide him into what he should do with them or reverse it if he'd rather? Like teaching him

I might try something like that. But from the experience I've had with him, I don't think that he's going to be happy in a Dominant role anytime soon. Too in his own head about it. So...what it'd look like in a room with him and one of my boys would probably be me domming both of them.

I know a few like that.

Cant you manage subtly and subterfuge? Many have made such things work with care. I could point you in the direction of one whose lovers back home are both doms as he is.

Alright I see it one of three ways:
-you deal with the inevitable consequences if it’s worth it to you to try

-you disengage before it becomes more and keep a warm friendship with distance

-you try and dom for him and work subtlety into your arrangement with rewards and punishments for subtlety managed or not as needed and hope that helps on more than one level

That's not true in the slightest, there are many who care too much about big or little things. More than that, beliefs like that are like to get you hurt or stretched too thin.

It absolutely does. You’ve conditioned yourself to need to care for all people all the time and despite what your head may tell you, that’s not so good a thing.

I could give examples why, but perhaps it would be a better exercise to make you tell me.
